Overheating
Loud fans and slowdowns usually mean dust in the heatsink. We clean the cooling system and renew the thermal paste.
Power faults
If it will not switch on, the power supply or the logic board may have failed. We test both before quoting.
Motherboard
No power, no picture or random shutdowns often come down to one failed part. Board-level repair costs far less than a new board.
Data recovery
If it will not start, we can often still recover your files. We check the drive before anything else.
Good to know
Many Intel iMacs shipped with slow spinning hard drives or Fusion Drives. Replacing them with an SSD is the single biggest speed-up these machines can get.
