USB-C and MagSafe
MacBooks from 2016 charge over USB-C, and later MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models brought back MagSafe as well. On many models the ports are on a small separate board that can be replaced without touching the logic board.

Try a different outlet, a different cable and, on USB-C models, a different port. If none of that works, bring it in with its charger so we can test both.

How long does it take?
Many port repairs are done within a day or two, depending on parts.
Do I need an appointment?
Not at our main workshop: walk in Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. For our Beckenham drop-off point, please call to book an appointment before you come.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, repairs carry a 3-month warranty on parts and labour. It does not cover new accidental damage.
