We test your Mac on an external display first. If the picture is fine there, the fault is the screen or its cable; if not, it may be the logic board, which is a different repair.
Why MacBook screens cost more
On most MacBooks the screen comes as a complete lid assembly, and the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro use mini-LED panels. We confirm the fault and the price before ordering anything.

Yes, on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models.
Will my files be affected?
No. A screen replacement does not touch your storage.
How long does it take?
If the display is in stock, often the same or next working day. Otherwise we give you a date when you drop it off.
Do I need an appointment?
Not at our main workshop: walk in Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. For our Beckenham drop-off point, please call to book an appointment before you come.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, repairs carry a 3-month warranty on parts and labour. It does not cover new accidental damage.
