Getting here
The London Overground from Dalston Junction, Haggerston or Hoxton runs to Canada Water, one stop from Bermondsey on the Jubilee line.
Bermondsey station (Jubilee line) and London Bridge are both within walking distance of the workshop.

A short history
Hackney was formed in 1965 from Hackney, Shoreditch and Stoke Newington. Shoreditch has a place in theatre history: The Theatre, one of London’s first playhouses, opened there in 1576 and staged Shakespeare’s early plays. Daniel Defoe lived in Stoke Newington, and in the 19th century Hackney grew from a village of country houses into a busy part of the capital.
