Common repairs
Screen
Cracked, black, flickering or lined screens. We fit a matching panel and test it for dead pixels, brightness and colour.
Swollen battery
A lifting trackpad or a case that no longer sits flat can mean the battery is swelling. Stop using it and keep it off charge.
Overheating
Loud fans and slowdowns usually mean dust in the heatsink. We clean the cooling system and renew the thermal paste.
Fan
A fan that grinds, rattles or has stopped needs replacing before it overheats. We fit a new one and test under load.
Keyboard
Missing, sticking or dead keys and spill damage. On some models the keyboard is fixed to the top case, and we tell you before starting.
Charging
Not charging, or only at an angle? We test the charger, the Round DC jack port and the power circuit to find the fault.
SSD and storage
On most models the SSD is a standard M.2 drive, so it can be upgraded or replaced and your files copied across.
Good to know
Razer Blades are compact and powerful, and swollen batteries are a known issue on some models. If the trackpad or base starts to bulge, stop using it.
