Common repairs
Screen
Cracked, black, flickering or lined screens. We fit a matching panel and test it for dead pixels, brightness and colour.
Touchscreen
The glass and display are usually bonded together, so a cracked touchscreen is replaced as one assembly and calibrated afterwards.
Overheating
Loud fans and slowdowns usually mean dust in the heatsink. We clean the cooling system and renew the thermal paste.
Fan
A fan that grinds, rattles or has stopped needs replacing before it overheats. We fit a new one and test under load.
Battery
Drains fast, shuts down with charge left or shows a service warning? We fit a new battery and check the charging circuit.
Charging
Not charging, or only at an angle? We test the charger, the USB-C or DC jack port and the power circuit to find the fault.
SSD and storage
On most models the SSD is a standard M.2 drive, so it can be upgraded or replaced and your files copied across.

Legion and LOQ gaming laptops need their fans and heatsinks cleaned regularly. Yoga convertibles have touchscreens, which are replaced as a complete assembly.
