Common repairs
Screen
Cracked, black, flickering or lined screens. We fit a matching panel and test it for dead pixels, brightness and colour.
Battery
Drains fast, shuts down with charge left or shows a service warning? We fit a new battery and check the charging circuit.
Keyboard
Missing, sticking or dead keys and spill damage. On some models the keyboard is fixed to the top case, and we tell you before starting.
Hinges
Stiff, loose or broken hinges and mounts pulling out of the case. Fixing them early protects the screen.
Charging
Not charging, or only at an angle? We test the charger, the USB-C or DC jack port and the power circuit to find the fault.
Motherboard
No power, no picture or random shutdowns often come down to one failed part. Board-level repair costs far less than a new board.
SSD and storage
On most models the SSD is a standard M.2 drive, so it can be upgraded or replaced and your files copied across.
Good to know
Latitudes are built for business use and are easy to service, with replaceable SSDs on nearly all models. They are well worth repairing rather than replacing, especially for small offices with several of the same model.
