Screen
Cracked, black, flickering or lined screens. We fit a matching panel and test it for dead pixels, brightness and colour.
Power faults
If it will not switch on, the power supply or the logic board may have failed. We test both before quoting.
Motherboard
No power, no picture or random shutdowns often come down to one failed part. Board-level repair costs far less than a new board.
Data recovery
If it will not start, we can often still recover your files. Storage is soldered, so this can mean repairing the board.
Good to know
The 24-inch iMac is very thin, with its power supply in the external adapter. Storage is soldered to the board, so keep a backup and bring it in quickly if it stops starting up.
