Bermondsey station (Jubilee line) and London Bridge are both within walking distance of the workshop.

A short history
Islington was once a village on the road north from the City, known for dairy farms that supplied London with milk. It was built up with Georgian and Victorian squares and terraces as London expanded, and the Regent’s Canal runs under it through the Islington Tunnel. The borough was formed in 1965 by merging Islington with Finsbury.
